Each component, which includes generation, transmission and distribution, is presented in the context of the Canadian electric industry to give an appreciation of the characteristics and dynamics unique to the energy commodity and physical operations.

The Electric Industry Restructuring course presents concepts and the driving forces for reform and improved market designs needed to restructure the electric industry. The course will provide you with recent learnings from the Canadian, U.S. and European markets and insight on how organizations can be commercially viable in a competitive electric market.
