This one day course will provide participants with an overview of economic terminology, fundamentals, and methodology used to determine profitability of ongoing operations as well as planning and selection of processes for future expansion/revamp. Included are discussions of process modeling, LP techniques and applications, refinery margins and crack spreads, financial terms and supply chain management. While the course is basic in nature, it is suggested that attendees unfamiliar with refinery processing and its vocabulary would benefit from attending the 2-day course “Introduction to Petroleum Refinery Processing” that immediately precedes this course.

A complete set of course materials and lunches are included
