Utilising Associated Gas

Producing oil remote from infrastructure is not too much of an issue – you stick it in a tanker, it is fairly stable and you can easily ship it to a refinery or market. Gas is more complicated – it is extremely unstable in its natural state and needs extensive processing to make it safe for transportation. These processes are not easy to do on a floating platform the middle of the ocean. But, in order to get at the oil you first have to do something with the gas. Associated Gas 2010 is aimed at oil field developers who have to find a way to deal with the gas, avoiding costly delays
