The Western Canadian energy processing industry has been an outstanding place to be over many decades, but our industry is currently faced with possibly the most difficult combination of challenges we've ever seen. At this year's conference we've gathered speakers to examine those challenges and provide insights into how to overcome them. The burdensome new Alberta Royalties and how we can survive, competition for the introduction of nuclear power, the economic obstacles to new capital investment - we've even brought in a former hostage negotiator!
Finally, this year we're re-introducing the panel discussions that were so popular in previous years, discussing the issues surrounding NEXT, NGL's and straddle plants. The panel will have representatives from across the industry. It should be a great discussion! We're also pleased to introduce a post-conference networking reception this year.
